Privacy policy

Mind Fact Drop ("we") runs a small automated tool, Shorts Autopilot, that publishes our own short videos to our own YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts. This policy explains what data that tool handles.

Who uses the tool

Only the owner of the Mind Fact Drop accounts. The tool is not offered to the public, and no one else can sign in to it.

What data we access

• Our own platform accounts. When we connect our YouTube, Instagram or TikTok account, the platform gives the tool a permission token. It is used only to upload our videos and check whether an upload finished. Tokens are stored as encrypted secrets in our private code repository.
• Basic account information returned by the platforms (such as the account ID and allowed privacy settings), used only to publish correctly.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, store or sell personal data about viewers or any other users.
• We do not read comments, messages, contacts or analytics about other people.
• We do not use Google user data to train AI models, and we do not share it with anyone.

Google API Services

Shorts Autopilot's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It requests only the YouTube upload permission.

Third-party services

Videos are made with Anthropic's Claude (scripts and checks), Microsoft text-to-speech (narration) and Pixabay (stock footage). These services receive only video scripts and search terms, never personal data. Published videos are subject to the privacy policies of YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

Removing access and deleting data

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account permissions page, Instagram's Settings → Apps and websites, or TikTok's security settings. When access is revoked we delete the stored token.

To ask us to delete any data related to your account, email factdrop63@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion". We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. Because the tool only stores our own account tokens and the IDs of our own posts, there is normally nothing else to delete.
